W John C Hawkins is a Life Coach and Mentor in Consciousness who helps people who want to create a slightly different reality than the one they are enjoying [or not enjoying!] right now. This is usually a simple and (mostly) fun, natural, and organic process that has to be seen to be believed. [or rather it has to be Believed to be Seen!]

Hypnotherapist – Accredited 2008
Graduated as a Client Centered Hypnotherapist, Harvard Institute of Hypnosis (now defunct, but my instructor’s new site is Mind of Excellence)
This is an 8-week intensive program and I scored 92% on the Canada-wide certification examination. This course showed me how to establish rapport, and gently and safely induce various trance states, for therapeutic purposes.
Declared a ‘Philosopher’ by YMCA Career Counselor – 1977
When I was trying to figure out my career, I took a program at the YMCA calledCareer Assessment. I still have the tape of my exit interview with the counselor after taking the two-day battery of tests. He said that I was ‘off the charts’ in all their categories and should probably be a philosopher and write books!
Trained Philosopher and Metaphysician – 1974
I earned a 4-year Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and was on the Dean’s Honor Role in third year. These were transformative years for a boy from small-town Ontario suddenly part of university life in huge Toronto.
I went from being a big frog in a small pond, to a very modestly sized frog in a very, very large pond. I entered university studying science, chemistry, and mathematics wanting to be a doctor, and came out studying religion, poetry, and anthropology, wanting to understand and master my own human consciousness.
I graduated from U of T with a very clear understanding of my personal focus and intent, a conscious, almost visceral, understanding of the qualities of life I was drawn to, regardless of the consequences. [Beauty, Feeling, Wisdom, Truth, Culture, Understanding, Camaraderie, Authenticity, Transcendence…]

[I gave public presentations once a month for years at the now defunct Omega Centre in central Toronto]
After being a member for twenty years, and having been initiated into the first layer of their clerical order, I let go of this religion because I had grown beyond what it was offering me. [I was assigned by our provincial leader to investigate a guy on the internet who was debunking us, and ended up being persuaded by his arguments! Oops!]

KRIS, a channel source speaking through my friend Serge J. Grandbois, is possessed of a vastness of perspective only matched by the vastness of his compassion for our human experience.
Kris is a humbling personage to engage, not because he is so much ‘wider’ than we are, but because he never fails to inspire within us the understanding and knowingness that we are equals! Kris never comes down to our level. He insists that we engage him at His level, which is inherent within us, but often not recognized.
Kris has pumped out thousands of pages of material, all of which is available on the net, and continues to ‘up the ante’ by engaging bigger and more ambitions projects. [He is an illuminating delight to encounter, as is Serge, Mark and the whole Kris gang.]
I have attended upwards of 300 face-to-face sessions with Kris over the last five years [and written 1000 word summaries of about half of these (all available online) - I guess you could say I’m a fan!]

LifeThreads™ – Therapeutic Assessment – 2006
Map the deeper meanings in your life. What if you could see a graph that showed how the most important values in your life were being fulfilled over time? So many personality test are multiple-choice questions that I always find that I can’t really answer clearly or with any conviction.
LifeThreads is a process of mapping whatever matters most to you in your life now – (this is something that you define), against a couple of dozen life changing events – that you also choose. The tables and graphs that result are often extremely revealing of the deeper structures and dynamics of the personality.
